Plata Latina Minerals Corporation announced that it expects to receive CAD 1.2 million in funding.

Plata Latina Minerals Corporation (TSXV:PLA) announced a non-brokered private placement of up to 12,000,000 units at CAD 0.10 per unit for gross proceeds of CAD 1,200,000 on August 13, 2014. Each unit will comprise one common share and one half of one common share purchase warrant. Each warrant will entitle the holder to purchase one additional common share at CAD 0.25 per share for a period of two years.

The closing of the transaction is subject to regulatory approvals.
