During the opening of the Prelios Group's new headquarters, there was also room for a social initiative promoted by the Group in favor of an important association active in Milan and Lombardy. 'Every day, as the entire city works and looks ahead,' explained Mayor of Milan Giuseppe Sala, 'it focuses on young people because we want to confirm Milan in its role and attitude as a contemporary international city, based on competitiveness and solidarity.' The response from Prelios was the announcement by Chairman Fabrizio Palenzona of a donation to one of Milan's historic voluntary organizations, Vidas, founded by Giovanna Cavazzoni in 1982 and engaged today on a number of projects, the most recent of which is La Casa Sollievo Bimbi, a center for children with incurable diseases, in the Milan's Gallaratese area close to the Casa Vidas hospice. The President of Vidas, Ferruccio de Bortoli, attended the opening of the Prelios HQ. To find out more about Vidas' remarkable work (more than 1,700 terminally ill patients assisted in 2017, providing 88,025 days of free assistance at home and in the hospice) and future projects, and to find out how to support it, please visit www.vidas.it.
