QIWI plc (NasdaqGS:QIWI) will look for investments. Qiwi may direct funds from the sale of its stake in Tochka to support the group's business growth and also sees potential targets for investment, group Chief Executive Officer Andrey Protopopov said on a conference call on November 23, 2021. "We're looking at different options right now to accelerate our growth.

There are various investment opportunities that could be considered, but they still have to be approved by the board of directors along with next year's budget," Protopopov said, when asked where Qiwi could direct funds from the sale of Tochka. The group will be able to disclose plans for the use of these revenues together with the presentation of a new strategy and forecast for 2022, the Chief Executive Officer said. Decisions on capital use options are made at the board of directors' level, Qiwi Chief Financial Officer Alexey Mashenkov said.

"We will be able to disclose plans when the board makes a decision," he said.
