Ricoh Company, Ltd. (TSE:7752) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to 48,000,000 shares, representing 7.54% of its issued shares for ¥30,000 million. The purpose of share repurchase is to enhance shareholder returns and improve capital efficiency.
The repurchase program will expire on September 30, 2022. As of March 31, 2022, the company had 636,999,478 shares in issue and 468,700 shares in treasury.
