Rinnai Corporation (headquarters: Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture; president: Hiroyasu Naito) published its Rinnai Report 2023 (Integrated Report) on November 28, 2023.

Each year, we publish the Rinnai Report (Integrated Report) to describe our sustainability and ESG activities. In the process of preparing this year's report, we communicated with our various stakeholders to help them gain a firm understanding of activities and disclosures expected of us, and we engaged in repeated discussions internally with management and through our ESG Committee. In addition to this Rinnai Report, we will strive to accurately disseminate both financial and non-financial information through our corporate website and other means.

In recent years, much attention has been paid to environmental initiatives, including efforts to achieve carbon neutrality and a decarbonized society. As a company that handles energy-consuming heating appliances, Rinnai recognizes that it has a strong impact on the global environment. With this in mind, we will accelerate our environmental contribution activities. With the increasing importance of ESG and the SDGs, meanwhile, we have included new information in this report about various types of capital owned by the Corporation, such as human capital and technological capital, as well as DX initiatives aimed at advancing our business.

In addition to hybrid water heaters and hydrogen combustion equipment, which are important elements of our environmental activities, this report has a special feature on our Air Bubble technology, which is indispensable to improving the quality of life, a goal stated in our medium-term business plan. This report also includes information on New ERA 2025 (our medium-term business plan) and RIM 2025 (our carbon neutrality declaration), as well as status reports on, and our approach to, ESG-related matters.
