The official ceremony was held via videoconferencing with the participation of Alexander Novak, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Andrey Ryumin, Director General of PJSC Rosseti, and heads of subsidiaries Rosseti Yug, Rosseti Ural, Rosseti Siberia and Rosseti Moscow Region.

110 kV Polevaya substation was built from scratch in Rostov region (Rosseti Yug) to provide 120 MW of power from new Marchenkovskaya wind power plant. 110 kV substations of Gornyi Shchit (Rosseti Ural) and Benzherep-2 (Rosseti Siberia) that are involved in the power supply of Yekaterinburg agglomeration and Novokuznetsk region of Kuzbass have undergone a heavy upgrade. The first stage of reconstruction has been completed at 220 kV Lesnaya substation (Rosseti Moscow Region), one of the primary substations in New Moscow, which will resolve the problem of power shortages in a radius of 20 km for at least five years.

"The substations provide power supply for tens of thousands of residents, industrial and socially significant facilities. Advanced technologies and equipment were used to implement the projects. They will contribute to increasing the reliability and quality of power supply and allow for connecting new consumers. I would like to note that the energy infrastructure is being progressively updated in the country, Alexander Novak stressed.

Rosseti Group strives to develop ahead of schedule, with due account for the current and future needs of its customers. Our priority includes uniform standards, approaches, and high-quality services throughout the areas of our business presence. On Power Engineer's Day, we are commissioning facilities in different parts of the country. The new power supply centers have different tasks but they have a feature in common - in each of the projects, relevant solutions have been applied to guarantee a high level of reliability and efficiency of electricity transmission to consumers," Andrey Ryumin noted.

Over 95% of the equipment installed at the power facilities is of domestic production, including modern power and switching equipment, microprocessor protection. Remote observability and smart metering are also implemented.
