Notice Concerning Reorganization of the Asset Management Company

and the Appointment of Directors and Key Employees

Samty Asset Management Co., Ltd. ("Asset Management Company"), the asset management company to which Samty Residential Investment Corporation ("Samty Residential") entrusts the management of its assets, decided at its Board of Directors' meeting held today on the reorganization of the Asset Management Company and the appointment of key employees, and determined to submit a proposal concerning the appointment of one director to the General Meeting of Shareholders of the Asset Management Company scheduled for February 24, 2022 ("the General Meeting of Shareholders"), as described below.

1. Reorganization

  1. Details of the reorganization
    In accordance with the establishment of a new Asset Management Division at the Asset Management Company, effective December 10, 2021, the organization of the Asset Management Company will be changed as follows.
    The new Asset Management Division will be established to engage in the leasing management business (including rental sales, rental management, accounts administration and associated operations) for rental properties developed and held by Samty Co., Ltd. ("Samty"), the main sponsor of the Asset Management Company, and others in major regional cities across Japan.
    With the establishment of the Asset Management Division, a new Asset Management Department will be established under its control, and satellite offices will be established and developed in major regional cities (Sapporo, Nagoya, Osaka, Hiroshima, and Fukuoka), in addition to the Tokyo office. These will carry out speedy and accurate leasing management operations firmly rooted in each city, enabling the Asset Management Company to accelerate its efforts to gather multifaceted information on rental properties, etc. from around Japan. Based on this accumulated information, the Samty Group will strive for more efficient and homogenous rental management operations, and aims to construct a new database that can be used in property development and investment decision-making for properties across Japan in the future.
    Moreover, when recruiting satellite office staff, the Asset Management Company will actively seek to recruit personnel from the local area around each office, to promote regional revitalization and stimulate regional economies through the creation of employment.
