TheScore : Names Dan Sabreen Director of Communications

TORONTO, September 10, 2020 -Score Media and Gaming Inc.(TSX Venture: SCR) ('theScore' or the 'Company') announced that Dan Sabreen has been named Director of Communications. In this role, Sabreen will lead theScore's U.S. media relations efforts, spearheading publicity for its sports media, esports and sports betting businesses. He will be based in theScore's New York City office.

Sabreen, a seasoned communications executive, most recently was Vice President of Public Relations for the New York Knicks, where he served as the team's chief strategist and spokesperson and oversaw all public relations activities for the team. Previously, he worked for CBS Sports for more than a decade, most recently as Vice President, Communications. While at CBS, Sabreen was responsible for helping to oversee publicity and communications efforts for all CBS Sports properties, including broadcast, cable and social media. He played a key role in driving publicity for campaigns supporting CBS Sports' coverage of Super Bowl 50, the NFL's Thursday Night Football, the NCAA Tournament, Southeastern Conference football and the Army-Navy game as well as studio and original programming.

Prior to CBS Sports, Sabreen worked in public relations at Washington, D.C.-based Sports America, Inc. for two years. While at Sports America, he oversaw all media relations strategy and execution for the company's various events and properties, including the McDonald's All-American Games, Jordan Brand Classic and Aflac All-American High School Baseball Classic.
