Sierra Income Corporation is a non-diversified closed-end management investment company, which operates as a business development company (BDU). The Company's investment objective is to generate current income, and to a lesser extent, long-term capital appreciation. The Company intends to meet its investment objective by primarily lending to, and investing in, the debt of privately-owned United States middle market companies. It intends to focus primarily on making investments in first lien senior secured debt, second lien secured debt, and to a lesser extent, subordinated debt, of middle market companies in a broad range of industries. Its subsidiaries include Alpine Funding LLC (Alpine) and STRF Holdings LLC (STRF). The Company's investment activities are managed by SIC Advisors.
