DELISTING DATE OF SINGAPORE REINSURANCE CORPORATION LIMITED

  1. INTRODUCTION
    The board of directors (the "Board") of Singapore Reinsurance Corporation Limited (the "Company") refers to:
    1. the announcement dated 13 July 2021 by the Company in relation to the receipt of the approval from the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited ("SGX-ST") for the delisting of the Company from the SGX-ST; and
    2. the announcement dated 29 July 2021 by SAC Capital Private Limited, for and on behalf of Fairfax Asia Limited (the "Offeror"), in relation to the exercise by the Offeror of its right of compulsory acquisition under Section 215(1) of the Companies Act (Chapter 50 of Singapore).
  3. DELISTING
    The Board wishes to announce that the Company will be delisted from the official list of the SGX-ST with effect from 9:00 a.m. on 5 August 2021.
