Ratingen, 7 April 2022 - SPIE Deutschland & Zentraleuropa, the German subsidiary of SPIE, the independent European leader in multi-technical services in the areas of energy and communications, announces the creation of SPIE Information & Communication Services GmbH.

This new entity will bring together different companies that the Group acquired since 2016: SPIE COMNET GmbH, SPIE Fleischhauer GmbH, SPIE TELBA Group GmbH, SPIE TELBA GmbH and Lewron GmbH.

SPIE is thus positioning itself as a strong partner for IT services, communication and collaboration solutions and security technology solutions in Germany and strengthening its foothold for further growth.

Merging these entities positions SPIE Information & Communication Services GmbH as a reliable solutions partner pooling its expertise in IT services, communication and collaboration solutions, and security technology solutions in Germany.

A strong local presence and a close proximity to customers

"Both our customers and employees will benefit from this simplification of our company structure. As SPIE Information & Communication Services GmbH, we have a higher visibility in four regions and are laying the foundations for simple, clear structures and unified processes and systems. At the same time, certifications will be easier to get, and customers' and partners' requirements to meet," says Michael Hartung.
With 1,400 employees at 30 sites across Germany, SPIE Information & Communication Services GmbH offers close proximity to its customers. Operational activities are managed by the regional directors: Heiko Bode (Northern Region), Michael Brase (Eastern Region), Hans-Günther Martin (Western Region) and Erik Holtmann (Southern Region). The management is led by Michael Hartung (MD), Michael Brase and Hans-Günther Martin.

With its strong local presence, the creation of SPIE Information & Communication Services enable SPIE to better tackle the challenges of tomorrow.
