Taganrog Boiler Making Works Krasny Kotelshchik : Equipment manufactured by “Krasny Kotelshchik” has been mounted at Ekibastuz GRES-1

High Pressure Heaters manufactured by the Taganrog Boiler-Making Works "Krasny Kotelshchik" (TKZ) passed incoming inspection and were placed in the design position at Ekibastuz GRES-1 named after Bulat Nurzhanov. Finalization of this project is an important step for further strengthening of fruitful operation of the Don Works at the power market of Kazakhstan.

The equipment lot, which was designed, manufactured and delivered by "Krasny Kotelshchik" to the largest power plant in Kazakhstan, includes three ПВ-1800 High Pressure Heaters. The heaters are difficult to transport due to their non-standard overall dimensions. They were delivered to Ekibastuz GRES-1 by parts, bodies and tube systems went separately. The parts were assembled right at the plant.

ПВ-1800 heaters are general purpose equipment made by "Krasny Kotelshchik" that can be used in the power units of various capacity. The heaters are mounted in the high pressure regeneration system. They are intended for preheating feed water before it is supplied to the boiler. They are designed to generally enhance the efficiency of the turbine plants and power units.

The heaters demonstrate great functional performance, which is proved through their long-lasting operation at the plants. ПВ-1800 heaters supplied by TKZ around ten years ago continue demonstrating their effective performance at the power unit No.2 of Ekibastuz GRES-1. At the request of the long-time partner "Krasny Kotelshchik" manufactured the new equipment for the power unit No.1 as part of the repair and maintenance works.
