Taganrog Boiler Making Works Krasny Kotelshchik : The Equipment by “Krasny Kotelshchik” was Installed at Shaturskaya GRES

Heaters of different standard sizes and their spare parts, to which the PV body relates, have been designed and manufactured by "Krasny Kotelshchik" for more than one decade; all the competences - both design and production - are available for that. The equipment under the trademark of TKZ, which proved high quality during operation at thermal power plants, is popular among customers.

The design of PV-500 body intended for supply to Shaturskaya GRES was developed by the specialists of "Krasny Kotelshchik" in compliance with the customer's statement of work and received preliminary approval of the thermal power plant. When designing the equipment, overall dimensions of the heater's internals were considered, which the customer decided to leave as they were. Besides, there were fully preserved connection dimensions of the body, and considered the requirements of the valid normative documentation.

PV-500 installed at Power Unit No. 1 of Shaturskaya GRES is intended for heating of feed water before it is supplied to a boiler. This equipment is required for efficient operation of the thermal power plant. The new body will extend the operating life of the heater, improve its reliability and safety, which is important for such a strategic site as Shaturskaya GRES. One of the oldest thermal power plants of Russia, founded in 1920 during implementation of the GOELRO plan (State Commission for Electrification of Russia), is nowadays a key element of the common power system, due to which electric power is supplied to the citizens of Moscow Region, including the capital of Russia - Moscow.
