Torishima Pump Mfg. Co., Ltd. reported consolidated earnings results for the six months ended September 30, 2019. For the period, the company reported net sales of JPY 17,572 million against JPY 19,133 million a year ago, operating loss of JPY 1,814 million against JPY 359 million, net loss of JPY 2,427 million against profit of JPY 8 million a year ago, net loss per share of JPY 89.82 against income per share of JPY 0.14 a year ago.
For the full fiscal year ending March 31, 2020, the company expects net sales of JPY 46,000 million, operating income of JPY 900 million, net income attributable to owners of parent of JPY 100 million, net income per share of JPY 3.70.
Torishima Pump Mfg. Co., Ltd. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of various pumps, pump plants and related products, as well as the provision of related services. The Pump segment is engaged in the manufacture, sale and installation of pumps, pump plants, mechanical seals and other pump related equipment, as well as the provision of related services. The Environment segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of environmental equipment, as well as the planning, manufacture and sale of recycling products from various wastes. The New Energy segment is engaged in the sale and installation of wind power generation equipment and small hydroelectric generation equipment, as well as the provision of electricity.
