The power engineers perform works on the plant equipment of CCGT power units: booster compressor station and bank pump station, as well as annual maintenance of the automatic process control system (Hard and Soft System) at CCGT Power Units Nos. 7 and 8.

In addition, the scheduled boroscopic inspection of the gas turbine unit (GTU) is being carried out at 410 MW CCGT Power Unit No. 8. The compressor flowpath, combustion chamber and gas turbine itself are subject to inspection. The equipment manufacturer's recommendations for monitoring of individual units of the GTU are also being implemented at the same time. A similar inspection was carried out at 400 MW CCGT Power Unit No. 7 in August.

In addition, the pump fleet, shut-off and control valves and main electrical equipment: the generator, unit and auxiliary transformers are being repaired at Power Unit No. 8. Verification and calibration of measuring devices, and maintenance of the Hard and Soft System (HSS Mark-VI) are being performed.

In December, installation of fire detection and containment systems for oil-filled sections of steam turbines and generators are expected to be completed at CCGT Power Units Nos. 7 and 8. The systems are to be put into commercial operation by the year-end.
