Unum : Receives Top Score for Disability Inclusion

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (July 13, 2021) - Unum (NYSE: UNM) is named a best place to work for disability inclusion. The workplace benefits and services provider earned a perfect score on the 2021 Disability Equality Index® (DEI) for the third consecutive year.
The benchmark is a joint initiative of the Disability:IN and American Association of People with Disabilities and provides an objective measure of disability inclusion practices and procedures. Companies are rated on several key performance indicators including culture, leadership, accessibility, employment, community engagement and supplier diversity.
As the leader in disability insurance, this award reflects not only the culture of inclusion we foster with our own employees, but also serves as a resource for our customers in how they can support their employees,' said Unum CEO Rick McKenney. 'This recognition speaks to our ongoing commitment in such an important area of wellbeing.'
