UTV acquires all India theatrical rights of Deiva Thirumagal

Mumbai, Monday, July 04, 2011: UTV Motion Pictures has acquired all India theatrical rights of the Tamil film- Deiva Thirumagal. With the two industry stalwarts –director Vijay and actor Vikram – coming together for the first time, the movie is pegged to be one of the most anticipated films of 2011.

Written and directed by A L Vijay, Deiva Thirumagal is a musical - family entertainer, co- produced by Sree Rajakaliamman Medias and UTV Motion Pictures starring Chiyaan Vikram in the lead role along with Anushka, Amala Paul, Santhanam and Nasser. The music, composed by young and talented G.V. Prakash Kumar (nephew of music legend A.R Rahman), is already hitting the popularity chart among the masses. The film is edited by Anthony with Nirav Shah as the cameraman.

The film is scheduled to hit the theatres on July 15th, 2011 and will be released across 350 screens in India.
