V-ZUG AT THE MILANO DESIGN WEEK 2022

For more than 100 years, V-ZUG has made its mission to design state-of-the-art appliances with a focus on precision, design, materiality, and longevity. At the 2022 edition of the Milano Design Week, the Swiss premium brand presents its collection in an immersive stand designed by Elisa Ossino in Eurocucina at Salone del Mobile, while at Fuorisalone it explores pathways into the future through conversations on design, circularity, architecture and the art of hosting.

Closing the circle

V-ZUG at Salone del Mobile

The immersive stand designed by Italian architect and designer Elisa Ossino is inspired by V-ZUG vision on circularity. The space has been imagined as a large dark square, marked on the outside by wooden walls. At the centre, an installation by artist Stefano Roveda and sound designer Stefano Messina invites contemplation, a living natural micro-environment that reflects on the harmonious relationship between technology and nature. "V-ZUG's technology is built around steam, water", says Ossino, "if you think about it, that is the foundation of the universe, of life". The translucent cylindrical volume evokes a protected environment, a biosphere where plants enjoy light and ventilation, while the sounds of nature spread out. All around, V-ZUG's appliances are installed as artworks in a magical and suspended atmosphere inspired by rigorous minimalism. Large backlights make them stand out in the darkness, emphasizing their sleek lines and premium technological content.

A taste of V-ZUG
at H+O Apartment Gallery

Elisa Ossino, architect, designer, and art director with Sicilian roots, welcomes us into the H+O Apartment Gallery in Milan, as part of this year's exhibition Inside Looking Out. In the 18th-century apartment gallery, curators Elisa Ossino and Josephine Akvama Hoffmeyer selected arts and crafts, alongside contemporary objects and iconic furniture, to reflect on the art of living. In the kitchen, where modern technology merges with traditional knowledge, a team of chefs from our Gourmet Academy will be present daily, offering the guests a sensorial experience through seasonal and curated hors d'oeuvre.

Inspirations
A magazine that explores pathways into the future.

Inspirations is the new magazine by V-ZUG, an elevated house organ where company contents stand next to interviews and articles on design, architecture and art. In this issue, we speak with Italian designer Elisa Ossino about the importance of a multidisciplinary approach for meaningful design and the need for personal research. Spanish born chef Zizi Hattab hosts us in her kitchen, where we talk about the future of cooking. Danielle Pender andYolanda Edwards tell us what's going on in the worlds of hosting and travel after a couple of difficult years. The portrait of Chinese entrepreneur Lu Yan invites us to reflect on women in business, while Swiss winemaker Martin Donatsch links business to happiness. Zurich-based artist Walter Pfeiffer treats us with food for thought, while Los Angeles artist Marleigh Culver, commissioned for an artwork, paints a soft landscape where subtle curves recall the peaks of the Swiss Alps. The list of the contributors counts personalities such as photographers Daniel Farò, Gerhardt Kellermann and Yang Yan Yuan; writers Danielle Pender and Hugo Macdonald; artist Anna Parini and guests such as Urchin Chang, Jayden Ali, and Charlie Porter.

Presenting the 2022 Collection

The collection 2022 features unique products which combine innovative functionality with sleek lines, as well as connected technologies and intuitive controls. At Eurocucina - as well as at our partner brands' showrooms around Milan - visitors can experience their top Swiss quality and elegant design. Next to existing star products such as the RefreshButler, an innovative appliance refreshing and sanitizing even the most delicate fibres like cashmere and silk using only natural elements as water, air and light; V-ZUG will highlight the heroes of the new Excellence Line of ovens and steamers, and the cooling appliances of the Supreme Line.

Excellence Line for Steaming, Baking and Cooking

COMBISTEAMER V6000 GRAND
A stunning appliance that brings a new dimension to steaming and baking, combining the advantages of steam with perfectly distributed hot air: an innovative technology that paves the way for high-level culinary results. Striking in size, it has an understated design, with discreet handles and high-quality materials for a unique elegance.

COMBISTEAMER V6000 POWERSTEAM
A full-fledged combisteamer benefiting from the intelligent use of microwaves. It offers a wide variety of preparation methods in a single appliance. It steams and bakes faster than a classic combi-steamer, resulting in gentler cooking perfectly retaining the quality, colour, texture, and flavour of the food.

COMBICOOKTOP V4000
Our CombiCookTop V4000 has a range hood integrated into the glass of the hob. This means cooking vapours are extracted from exactly where they are generated. Each cooking zone on the CombiCookTop V4000 is fitted with four ZoneFlex induction coils. These automatically recognize the pan size and position, and connect to form a bridge with no manual intervention. The two cooking zones to the right and left of the range hood can be used as one large area for a casserole, or for two saucepans as usual.

Supreme Line for Food and Wine Preservation

COMBICOOLER V6000 SUPREME
Functionality and aesthetics at the very highest level, using top graded materials such as stainless steel, aluminium, and glass. The soft-telescopic runners allow the drawers to be fully extended, guaranteeing easy access to all your stored goods. The fully adjustable shelves provide full flexibility. The freezing compartment can be easily converted into a fridge (and back) thanks to the MonoFridge function.

FREEZER V6000 SUPREME
The generous storage space of the Supreme Freezer V6000 allows for convenient storage of freshproduce and prepared food, which can be easily regenerated in the CombiSteamer, creating perfect conditions for convenience, quality of food at home and avoidance of food waste.

WINECOOLER V6000 SUPREME
The new generation of WineCooler features newly designed climate control. The triple layer glass used on the door perfectly shades UV rays. New design possibilities such as the colour finishes of the wood, bring this piece to a new interior design dimension.
