Heinz M. Buhofer has decided to step down as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Zug Estates at the 2014 annual general meeting of shareholders, but will still be available to serve as a Board member. Hannes Wüest is proposed as the future Chairman of the Board of Directors. Hannes Wüest has served as a member of the Board since 2007 and from 2009 onward was also in charge of the operational management until the split from Metall Zug AG.

When the Zug Estates Group was spun off, he became Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Strategy and Investment Committee. A proposal will also be submitted to the annual general meeting on April 11, 2014 for the election of Dr. Beat Schwab to the Board. Beat Schwab is a real estate specialist with a proven track record between 2006 and 2012 he was CEO of the real estate service provider Wincasa and for the past year has been in charge of Swiss Real Estate Asset Management at Credit Suisse.

He is to succeed Dr. Hajo Leutenegger, who will be leaving the Board on reaching the age limit set by the Articles of Incorporation.
