AsiaSat hires new Director of Information Technology

Hong Kong, 22 February 2018 - Asia Satellite Telecommunications Company Limited(AsiaSat),

Asia's leading satellite operator announced the appointment of Ellen Yeung as the new Director of Information Technology to provide leadership for the development of IT initiatives and projects for the company.

Bringing with her vast experience and talents in IT applications and infrastructure architecture, Ellen will lead a team of experienced IT professionals to oversee the continued development and implementation of innovation and IT initiatives that generate the highest level of security and efficiency of information management and distribution for the company.

Ellen has over 25 years of IT infrastructure and project management experience at major institutions in Hong Kong. Prior to joining AsiaSat, she held senior positions in Hong Kong Productivity Council and Hong Kong Jockey Club, where she has played a leading role in providing leadership and management in the development and implementation of innovative IT services.

Ellen holds a Master's Degree in Management Information System and a Master's Degree in Business Administration at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and is also certified in Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT).
