Ten years after taking on the role of Dallas market president, Richard Holt is passing the leadership role on to U.S. Trust Market Executive Jennifer Chandler on January 1, 2019. Holt and Chandler will work closely together during the transition.

As market president for Dallas, Chandler will work throughout the market to connect businesses, families and individuals to Bank of America's banking and investment teams. She will also lead the effort to direct the bank's resources in the market to address local priorities and help build strong communities.

'Richard has helped us deliver responsible growth by serving our clients and being a great partner in the Dallas Metroplex. I thank him for his leadership and look forward to Jennifer taking on this important work,' said Brian Moynihan, chief executive officer, Bank of America.

Chandler will also continue in her role as the U.S. Trust Bank of America Private Wealth Management market executive across the Greater North Texas Region, Tulsa and Wichita.

Her team of dedicated private client professionals serve the needs of ultra high net worth institutions, individuals and their families, as well as business owners from diverse industries.

A Dallas County native, Chandler has been a long-standing member of the company's local leadership team. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in government from the University of Texas at Austin and earned her MBA from the University of Dallas, with a focus on finance. She is also an inductee of the University of Dallas College of Business 'Hall of Fame' for distinguished alumni, attended the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania leadership program, and is a member of the Securities Industry Institute Society.

Active in the community and with bank-specific initiatives, Chandler is currently serving as the board chair for Leadership Dallas Alumni. She is a former board chair for Real School Garden and Reading Partners and a former board member of Junior Achievement of Dallas and Big Thought. She volunteers and serves as an advisory board member of the Junior League of Dallas and United Way Women of Tocqueville. Chandler has received the Women's Exchange Sue Haskoor Award, serves as the executive sponsor for the Bank of America Community Volunteers, and was a founding committee member of the North Texas chapter of the bank's employee network LEAD for Women.

Chandler and her husband, along with their four children, reside in Dallas. She is a Leadership Dallas alumna and a '40 under 40' Dallas Business Journal honoree.

Richard Holt was named Dallas market president in 2008. He has helped deliver the full power of Bank of America to benefit clients, customers and the community. Holt remains a member of the local leadership team in his role as Global Commercial Banking market executive.
