LAS VEGAS-Aliante Casino + Hotel + Spa will bring celebrated alternative rock bands to Access Showroom in July, including the modern rock, vintage Vegas band Reckless In Vegas and hard rock, grunge band Candlebox. July entertainment will also include free live performances at Aliante's fine dining destination, MRKT Sea & Land.

Reckless In Vegas

Reckless In Vegas has blended the imagery, banter and timeless music from the 1960s era in Las Vegas with a contemporary rock band aesthetic. The trio has created an exciting show with modern versions of songs by artists, including Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Elvis, Sonny & Cher, Frankie Valli, Neil Diamond, Johnny Cash, Bobby Darin and more.

Whether audiences remember the swinging Vegas lounge days or were born later, Reckless In Vegas has something for everyone. Video montages, dialogue, humor, modern hard-rocking grooves and moments of balladry combine to create a truly original take on this classic genre.

The Reckless In Vegas trio is comprised of Michael Shapiro on lead vocals and guitar, Ryan 'Dr Fu' Low on drums and vocals, and Chris Nichols on bass and vocals.

A portion of the concert proceeds will be donated to St. Jude's Ranch for Children, which is dedicated to transforming the lives of abused and at-risk children, young adults and families by empowering them to create new chances, new choices and new hope in a caring community.

Candlebox

Emerging from Seattle's burgeoning mid-1990s grunge scene, Candlebox quickly found mainstream success with their deep, lyrically-driven melodies and big radio hooks. Power anthems like 'Far Behind' and 'You,' from their debut, self-titled album exploded onto the charts propelling the album to sell more than four million copies worldwide.

Later albums would showcase their versatility between emotionally-charged, brooding ballads like 'Cover Me' and groove-infused, straight-up rock 'n' roll tunes, including 'Change' and 'Arrow.'

The 2016 release of 'Disappearing In Airports' found Candlebox revealing a more classic rock vibe with songs like 'Vexatious' and 'Supernova,' driving the album to debut at No. 9 on the Billboard Charts.

This year, the band has been on tour, both domestically and internationally, celebrating their 25^th Anniversary, and the group has announced plans to start writing and recording new music in the year ahead.
