Group Footwear Production and Sales Quantities of December 2016

In December, the footwear production was 8.7 million pairs, an increase of 0.5 percent compared to the previous month, and 4.2 percent higher than the same period in 2015. The footwear sales was 8.4 million pairs, an increase of 1.2 percent compared to the previous month, and 7.0 percent higher than the same period in 2015.
In the fourth quarter, the footwear production was 25.1 million pairs, an increase of 6.4 percent compared to the previous quarter, and 5.3 percent higher than the same period in 2015. The footwear sales was 24.2 million pairs, an increase of 7.6 percent compared to the previous quarter, and 6.8 percent higher than the same period in 2015.
As of December 31, 2016, the footwear production totaled 95.7 million pairs, higher by 8.2 percent over the same period in 2015. The footwear sales totaled 94.8 million pairs, higher by 6.5 percent over the same period in 2015.
