Participating in SPE Annual Technology Conference & Johnson Rice Energy Conference

HOUSTON, September 24, 2018 -- Flotek Industries, Inc. (NYSE: FTK), a leading innovator and distributor of prescriptive chemistry-based technology proven in the oilfield, will participate in two leading energy industry conferences: The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition (ATCE) and Johnson Rice Energy Conference.

Flotek's patented Complex nano-Fluid® technology will be featured at SPE ATCE in a joint paper with Texas A&M University entitled 'Microemulsion Effects on Oil Recovery from Kerogen using Molecular Dynamics Simulation' (SPE-191719-MS). Dr. Yucel Akkutlu, Professor of Petroleum Engineering at Texas A&M University, will present the paper at the conference on Tuesday, September 25, at 4:35 p.m. Central in Dallas. At its booth exhibit, Flotek will highlight how its reservoir-centric fluid systems have enhanced production and economic benefits for its clients across a wide variety of applications throughout North American basins and reservoirs. Flotek will host conference participants in booth #2613 Monday, September 24 through Wednesday, September 26.

Additionally, Flotek will meet with investors at the Johnson Rice Energy Conference in New Orleans Monday, September 24 through Wednesday, September 26.
