On August 4th, FPT and Dong Luc Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement, under which FPT will help Dong Luc Group optimize business operation with its own experience and 4.0 tech solutions, especially in the context of Covid-19.

At the event, FPT together with the enterprises from Red Star Entrepreneur Club discussed digital transformation orientation to help businesses continue operating and overcoming challenges amid new wave of Covid-19.

Implementing digital transformation, optimizing business operation

Covid-19 returns as a second wave which is much more complicated and unpredictable than the 1st one. The problem faced by businesses and Dong Luc Group is to ensure business operation, strengthen internal management, increase sales activities as well as finance, to optimize resources, save costs as well as improve efficiency, thereby building a foundation for breakthroughs.

According to Chairman of Dong Luc group Le Van Thanh, Covid-19 made them realize it is time to make a change after more than 30 years of development. The potential of the sports industry is huge, Unless the way of business management is changed, breakthroughs would not be made in the new situation. The cooperation with FPT in making digital transformation in manufacturing and sales for the period of 2020-2024 aims to completely transform Dong Loc Group.

FPT provides advice on, train on and implement solutions to digitize processes and automate task assignment, digitize sales management and build a financial reporting system for Dong Luc Group.

With some outstanding products from the set of Made by FPT DX products/solutions to help businesses optimize digital operation such as FPT SPro and DMS, Dong Luc Group will standardize and digitize hundreds of processes on a single platform, automate 50% -90% of tasks, reduce internal transaction time and operating expenses.

In addition, the digital transformation in sales management will also help Dong Luc Group increase efficiency thanks to data management by geographic area, sales cycle and sales route besides real-time sales report. The smart financial analysis report model helps with important assessments and adjustments to support corporate governance.

Vietnamese business coalition share digital transformation orientation towards the digital enterprise model

The representatives of FPT, Dong Luc Group and many enterprises of Red Star Entrepreneur Club discussed priorities and 'digital transformation orientation for businesses amid new wave of Covid-19'.

According to Ms. Ha Thi Thu Thanh, Chairperson of Deloitte Vietnam, selling activities are the number one priority that businesses need to focus in the context of Covid-19. When consumer thinking changes, businesses must change their mindsets: Being more cautious, how much to produce, whom to sell to, how to sell, how to sell less for more. Accordingly, it is necessary to change the leadership mindset, like the way FPT established a rapid respones ream when Covid-19 first started, to respond more rapidly to market volatility. Covid-19 offers an opportunity to review the system, evaluate the effectiveness of governance, come up with lean strategies to save costs.

'Enterprises need to band together to live. Eurowindow had an initial view exchange with FPT and hoped the club would provide direct advice and sharing to businesses in order that they not only live but also live better,' said Eurowindow General Director Nguyen Canh Hong, Chairman of Red Star Entrepreneurs Club.
