Hrvatski Telekom dd : Through the new MAXtv To Go app, the smartphone has been transformed into a universal remote control and the users have been given the opportunity to simultaneously watch programmes on several screens.

The users of new MAX2 and MAX3 packages by Hrvatski Telekom have been provided a new MAXtv To Go app which enables them to simultaneously watch different programmes on several smart devices and use their smartphone as a universal remote control.

In addition to watching programmes on several smart devices, starting from now, the users will be able to connect their smartphone, tablet, or TV in a simple way just by making a movement with one finger. Hence, they are given the opportunity to uninterruptedly enjoy their favourite TV programme at any time.

Moreover, most programmes provided through MAXtv Video Library and on-demand programmes that have been purchased by the users on MAXtv device will also be available through MAXtv To Go app, albeit the access to the programmes will depend on the availability of broadcasting rights on other devices (TV, laptop, mobile phone, tablet). A new app will enable the users to use and manage all the functionalities which have normally been available on MAXtv receiver - TV programme guide, its recording service named Snimalica, Video Library, Video Subscription Packages, and on-demand programmes on smartphones, tablets, or personal computers.

Through MAXtv To Go app, the users will be able to absolutely replace the classical remote control. The app gives them the opportunity to control and manage the MAXtv receiver through options such as changing TV channels, turning the volume up or down, browsing through programmes, browsing through Video Library, and programming of recordings, amongst others. Furthermore, control of several MAXtv receivers in one household has from now on also become an option.

In order to use a mobile device as a classical remote control, one simply needs to select the icon for remote control function through the new MAXtv To Go app, following which remote control function will be shown on the screen.

The users interested in the new MAXtv To Go app only need to download it and sign in using their Telekom ID. The users with several MAXtv accounts only need to select the MAXtv account they wish to connect and set up as default.
