Hrvatski Telekom dd : With comprehensive Wi-Fi solution by HT Group to a satisfied guest of Valamar

As part of one of the largest wireless connectivity projects in the region, the possibility of free wireless internet access has been introduced in all Valamar hotels and summer resorts and camping summer resorts.

HT Group members - Combis and Hrvatski Telekom - finalized the first part of the multi-year project of implementing Wi-Fi solutions in all facilities of the tourism company Valamar.

Combis, the leading provider of IT services in Croatia, has designed and implemented the entire Cisco-based system for selected locations. After the design of wireless systems, a LAN segment design was also developed.

The project in Valamar is part of a series of projects we are currently working on in the tourist segment, where we see tremendous potential since technology in the tourism industry creates not only a different and better user experience, but also provides exceptional opportunities for optimization and efficient and competitive business', said Hrvoje Išek, CEO of Combis.

Hrvatski Telekom, the leading telecommunications company in Croatia and the project holder, linked all of Valamar's locations through high-speed data lines with its data center where a central hub is located. In the data center, high capacity internet access was provided. Connection points by locations were also provided accordingly to the agreed time schedule. For the purpuse of this project the capacity of one part of the Hrvatski Telekom access network was extended to meet the need for high speed in all Valamar locations.
