A few weeks after Verizon last expanded its 5G network, the coverage is growing again.

Verizon 5G is now live in St. Paul, MN. This is the fifth city to get Verizon's 5G network, joining Denver, Chicago, Minneapolis, and Providence. Verizon has said that it plans to launch 5G in more than 30 cities in 2019.

Verizon customers in St. Paul can find 5G service in parts of the Downtown, Lowertown, and West Seventh neighborhoods around landmarks like the Minnesota Children's Museum, the Minnesota Museum of American Art, the Fitzgerald Theater, Cathedral Hill Park, and the Alexander Ramsey House.

Also launching today is a new 5G device. The Inseego 5G MiFi M1000 is available from Verizon today for $27.08 per month for 24 months ($649.99 full retail) or $499.99 with a two-year contract. Customers with an unlimited smartphone plan can add the Inseego 5G MiFi M1000 to their account and get a combo of 50GB of 5G and 15GB of 4G LTE hotspot usage for $30 per month.

Verizon business customers can get the Inseego 5G MiFi M1000 for $499.99 with a two-year contract or $649.99 full retail. Business customers with a $45 per month unlimited plan can get 35GB of 4G/5G usage for an additional $15 per month.

The Inseego 5G MiFi M1000 hotspot measures 3.48 inches high by 4.85 inches wide. Its features include a 2.4-inch touchscreen that'll show your connection strength, battery life, number of connections, and more. There's a 4400mAh battery that Inseego says will get you a full day of usage, a USB-C port for charging, and 32GB of storage. Also included is an ethernet port for tethering and support for connecting up to 15 Wi-Fi devices at once.
