Interserve : joint venture wins Ministry...

Interserve Group Limited, the international support services, construction and equipment services group, has won a significant contract extension with the Ministry of Defence as part of Interserve's Landmarc Support Services (Landmarc) joint venture with PAE.

The contract extension covers Landmarc's partnership with the Defence Infrastructure Organisation to manage and operate military training facilities across the Ministry of Defence's (MoD) 190,000 hectares of built and rural UK Defence Training Estate, a position the company has held since 2003.

Landmarc delivers a wide range of key facilities management services that support the MoD in the provision of around seven million training days per year over an estate that includes more than 120 sites and 9,000 buildings.

Interserve's capability to partner with the MoD to deliver key facilities management contracts dates back to when the company retained the outsourcing contracts in 1993. Interserve runs more than a dozen major facilities management projects for the Armed Forces, and notably this year won an extension from the Defence Infrastructure Organisation to provide total facilities management services for the Permanent Joint Operating Bases.
