Maintal, Germany, June 19, 2019-NORMA Group, a global market leader in engineered joining technology, is celebrating its fifth NORMA Diversity Day at its Maintal headquarters today. Over the next few weeks, Diversity Day will be celebrated at NORMA Group sites around the world.

'Many different people come together at our production and sales sites in 26 countries worldwide,' said Dr. Michael Schneider, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of NORMA Group and responsible for Corporate Responsibility on the Management Board. 'In Terms of their origin, gender and age our teams are very diverse. Every year, we take NORMA Diversity Day as an opportunity to express this diversity within our company.'

Today, at NORMA Group headquarters in Maintal, Germany, all employees are invited to celebrate Diversity Day together. At the heart of this celebration is the participation in a diversity video in which all sites take part. In addition, employees can inform themselves about the company's diversity at an information booth. Diversity Day has also already been celebrated in China: In Qingdao, the focus was on medical care for female employees. A voluntary medical check-up was organized in the nearby hospital.

NORMA Group signed the 'Charter of Diversity' in 2013. The company is committed to equal opportunities and promotes the exchange of ideas and ideas between its employees. Among other initiatives, NORMA Group offers various exchange programs that enable its employees to spend short and long-term periods at sites abroad.
