The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has on Wednesday reserved verdict on a petition seeking Federal Minister for Aviation Ghulam Sarwar Khan's removal.

The petition - filed by Tariq Asad Advocate - argued that the aviation minister gave irresponsible statement regarding pilots of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).

Following Ghulam Sarwar Khan's remarks, PIA flights were banned in Europe for six months, Tariq Asad said while adding that a the minister should have take secret action against those with fake licenses.

IHC Chief Justice Athar Minallah said in his remarks that a detailed judgment over the matter will be issued later.
