RSC Energia: electrical tests of Soyuz MS-10 started in Baikonur

RSC Energia specialists started electrical tests of the Soyuz MS-10 transport manned spacecraft which on June 5 was delivered to the integration and test facility (ITF) of Area 254 of Baikonur launch site.

The day before a joint team of specialists from SC ROSCOSMOS enterprises performed an inspection and acceptance of the spacecraft which arrived from Korolev by rail.

Soyuz MS-10 was manufactured at RSC Energia.

The new-modification Progress MS and Soyuz MS spacecraft developed and manufactured by RSC Energia is a result of a radical upgrade of Progress M and Soyuz TMA spacecraft. Thanks to the use of the new ground and onboard radio systems, it became possible to use state-of-the-art data transmission protocols, which resulted in improved operational stability of the spacecraft control system. The majority of technical solutions incorporated in Soyuz MS and Progress MS design will be used in development of a new generation transport manned spacecraft being developed by RSC Energia.
