The appointment of Mr. Dan Bigu as Manager of Cernavoda NPP subsidiary following the completion of the internal selection contest

Societatea Nationala Nuclearelectrica S.A. ("SNN") informs the shareholders and investorsthat starting with September 1st2018, Mr. Dan Bigu will occupy the position of Manager of Cernavoda NPP following the completion of the internal selection contest, in compliance with the applicable legal provisions.

The position of Manager of Cernavoda NPP is permanently ensured, in compliance with the applicable legal provisions by an expert in the nuclear field, within the company.

Mr. Dan Bigu graduated from the Politehnica Institute of Bucharest, Faculty of Energetics, Nuclear Power Plants specialization and has an experience of over 30 years in operation and nuclear energy production, holding several management positions with CNE Cernavoda during his career and being recognized as an international expert in the nuclear field. Mr. Dan Bigu also has a n extensive experience in the management and unfolding of investment projects.
