After visiting our Chy Ryn Parc development in Wadebridge, Rowan Lewis, 22, and Conor Constance, 23, never imagined that they would be able to afford a home there. But after discussing their options with the Sales Executives, the Help to Buy scheme made their dream of owning a home a reality, as Rowan confirms:

'We've always wanted to buy our own home, so once I had got a full time job after University we were confident enough to visit the sales office at Chy Ryn Parc. To be honest, our first impressions were that we'd never be able to afford it. But the Sales Executives in the sales office were amazing; they guided us through the Help to Buy scheme, and we were able to get our dream first home. By using Help to Buy we reserved our home with a reduced deposit which was incredible, we also used a financial advisor recommended by Taylor Wimpey to keep the process simple.'

Commenting on the decision to buy a three bedroom Gosford home with Taylor Wimpey, Conor said: 'Taylor Wimpey stood out from other local developers because of the high quality and layout of the houses. We chose the Gosford as we could see ourselves growing into the house; we loved the layout, the size of the living room, and how the kitchen leads out onto the garden where we'll be enjoying dining alfresco in the summer.'

Since completing on the property in April, Rowan and Conor have been loving life in their new home, as Rowan confirms: 'Every day after work I'm so happy to come back to our home. I love the floor to ceiling windows that feature in our living room and master bedroom, and I enjoy relaxing in the living room whilst looking out onto beautiful greenery. It's amazing to see how the development changes day by day. We've met a few of our neighbours who've made this development feel like a real community. The best thing about Chy Ryn Parc is the location though, we're just a 10 minute walk away from town, and not far from the school either - this really is future-proof living. As our hometown, being able to stay close to Wadebridge means that we are not only close to our family, but we don't have to commute far to work either. Our new home has fit in with our lifestyle as if we've been living here for years.'
