Technotrans : presents cooling solutions for different printing methods

technotrans SE presents its cooling solutions for offset and digital printing applications at this year's Print China exhibition from 9-13 April. The presentation will focus on particularly environmentally friendly and energy-efficient systems. Among the systems to be presented at the exhibition will be cooling solutions based on the well-established omega.line as well as ink supply systems.

'In China, just like anywhere else in the world, energy efficiency and the protection of the environment play a very important role across all types of industries. As a result, there is a high demand for sustainable solutions that we produce and offer locally,' explains Peter Böcker, head of sales at technotrans. The company from Sassenberg, Germany, with a strong specialisation in fluid technology has been present in China since 1997 with an own production site where the company mainly produces dampening solution circulators for the local market. Among the technotrans customers are renowned companies from the printing industry. Many of them rely 100% on technotrans solutions for their products.

The taifun.chiller for digital printing presses, which technotrans will present at the Print China, is a compact system that is specifically adapted to the requirements of the Chinese market and produced at the Taicang factory. The chiller is based on the well-established omega.line series that stands out in particular due to its space-saving design in a modular housing and its high refrigeration capacity. In addition, it is equipped with reliable components that reduce the required level of maintenance. Due to the easy-to-clean aluminium fabric air filter, which makes additional filter material obsolete, it is a low-maintenance cooling solution.

Longer dampening solution service life thanks to fine filtration
Other products presented are efficient systems for the dampening solution fine filtration for medium- to large-format printing presses. Thanks to the two-stage filtration principle, the users benefit from a longer service life of the dampening solution and also from a lower need for consumables and reduced disposal costs. In the offset printing area, technotrans will use 3D models at their stand to illustrate the complexity of central water cooling and ink supply systems while at the same time presenting the entire spectrum of solutions for a particularly efficient ink supply.

Clear commitment to their Chinese business location
Several years ago, technotrans bundled its sales and service activities at the Taicang location so that the customers have experts for their products directly on site. Peter Böcker is confident as far as the economic future of the company in China is concerned: 'We hold a very good position on the Chinese market, not least due to our own production facilities and a comprehensive service network. In addition, we see a high growth potential in the field of digital printing and classic offset printing alike.'
