TietoEnator Corporation Press Release 18 March 2008 11.00 AM EET

TietoEnator will supply Sjukvårdsrådgivningen SVR AB (the Swedish
Healthcare Advisory Organization) with a solution for a national
patient overview (NPO). The aim is to improve patient security and
quality of care still further. The agreement is worth at least EUR
12.2 million, and runs for five years with an option to extend for a
further two years.

The NPO will make real time patient information available on a
national level to county councils, local authorities and private
healthcare providers. In a later phase, Swedish residents will also
be given the opportunity to access their own medical records. The
solution has planed to be ready for production within twelve months.
During the final three months, Örebro county council and Örebro local
authority will trial a test solution.

"We are very pleased that the negotiations regarding the NPO are
complete. Our evaluation of the project is satisfactory, and the
total cost falls within the expected price range. I am now looking
forward to the next stage, which involves setting up the NPO - and
obviously, most importantly, the upcoming delivery to users," said
Lars Andåker, chairman of National Centre for Coordination of
e-Health.

The national patient overview is delivered by TietoEnator as a
complete commission. The solution comprises implementation,
development, application management and hosting, and is based on the
standard InterSystems HealthShare(TM) software.

"We are delighted to have won this important contract. The national
patient overview provides a modern tool to make co-operation between
the county councils, local authorities and other healthcare providers
even more efficient. With this project, TietoEnator is strengthening
its position as a leading supplier of IT support to the healthcare
industry. One particular point of interest is that individual
citizens will eventually have access to their own medical records via
the internet," said Jan B. Andersson, responsible for the
Scandinavian healthcare business in TietoEnator.

"Many countries and regions are making efforts to computerize patient
medical records in order to improve the quality of care," says Mats
Sandström, InterSystems' Country Manager, Nordic. "The Nordic
healthcare market is regularly cited as the frontrunner in the
development of digital healthcare. This is in part because the Nordic
countries have applied modern technology to deliver high standards of
care, but also because of the commitment to provide those high levels
of care to all citizens in these countries. This nationwide
HealthShare project will enable us to share the experiences gained
from Sweden with other nations as they seek to develop Electronic
Health Records for the benefit of their citizens."
