Currently, Alexander Resch occupies the position of Chairman-Management Board & CEO of Všeobecná úverová banka as, President of Slovak Banking Association and President of Italian-Slovak Chamber of Commerce.

In his past career Mr. Resch held the position of Executive Director-Risk Management Division at Všeobecná úverová banka as and Chief Executive Officer at Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Albania Sh.A.

He received an MBA from The Curtis L. Carlson School of Management, an MBA from Vienna University of Economics & Business and an undergraduate degree from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore Campus di Milano.
