Dr. Patzak previously occupied the position of Chief Financial Officer of Bilfinger SE, CFO-Wireline Communications Division at Infineon Technologies AG, CFO-Siemens Gas & Power Business at Siemens AG, Chief Accounting Officer, VP & Controller for Siemens AG, Chairman for Global Tungsten & Powders Corp., Chief Financial Officer for OSRAM GmbH and Chief Financial Officer of OSRAM Licht AG.

Dr. Patzak received an undergraduate degree, an MBA and a doctorate from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
