Noman Ahmed Soomro

Mr. Noman Ahmed Soomro is Chief Financial Officer & Company Secretary at HBL Asset Management Ltd.
Prior to joining HBL Asset Management, he was working at A.F.Ferguson Chartered Accountants; a member firm of Pricewaterhouse Coopers.
During his five years at A.F.Ferguson with the Assurance and Business Advisory Services of the firm, he conducted audits of major financial institutions of Pakistan including local and foreign commercial banks, mutual funds, modarbas, housing finance company and leasing companies.
He was also a key member of the team which conducted pre-acquisition Financial and Taxations Due Diligence Review of a commercial bank in Pakistan.
He has also conducted Internal Audit reviews of a large commercial bank and a foreign bank where the responsibilities included reporting on effectiveness and efficiency of internal audit department and independent reporting on internal control weaknesses.
He is a qualified Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Pakistan (ICAP).
