Bill Johnson

Bill Johnson, CPA joined Flagship Pioneering in 2017 as director of finance.
He became vice president of finance in 2018.
In this role, Bill works with the Fund Operations team focusing on financial reporting, deal modeling, and technology implementation.
Bill received his CPA license while working at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Boston, and then began his career in Venture Capital and Private Equity first with Summit Partners, then moving to Kodiak Venture Partners and Cue Ball Capital.
Most recently, prior to joining Flagship, Bill served as CFO for a number of life science companies, including Allegro Diagnostics, which was acquired by Veracyte, Lumicell and GreenLight Biosciences.
Bill holds a B.A in economics and accounting from the College of the Holy Cross, and an M.B.A from Boston College.
