At Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., he led a research team as part of the firm's agency and non-agency mortgage-backed securities and structured products unit, advising institutional clients on portfolio and asset-liability management strategies.
He was previously employed as a Principal by Braver STern Securities LLC, a Principal by Deutsche Bank Securities, Inc., and a Managing Director by Bear, Stearns & Co., Inc.
Mr. Helwig received his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University.
