The Group's principal activity is to accept deposits from the general public and invest such deposits along with other sources of funds, in loans secured by one-to-four family residential real estate. The Group's operations are conducted primarily through its subsidiary First Keystone Bank. The Services are provided in Delaware and Chester Counties, Pennsylvania and to a lesser degree, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania and New Castle County, Delaware. The Group originates loans secured by first and second lines on single-family residences. The lending activities of the Group include origination of loans secured by commercial and multi-family residential real estate properties as well as residential and commercial construction loans secured by properties. The Group offers a variety of deposits consisting of NOW, non-interest-bearing accounts, money market deposit accounts and passbook accounts.
