Dmytro Bondar

Dmytro Bondar joined Horizon Capital in June 2008.
He is responsible for developing and maintaining the firm’s compliance and environmental and social (E&S) management systems and ensuring that the firm and its employees adhere to the requirements of the Limited Partnership Agreements and best practices in terms of Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance Policies, the IFC Performance Standards and the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Guidelines, anti-corruption and anti-money laundering legislation, international sanctions and other regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
Mr. Bondar is focused on continuous improvement of internal policies and procedures.
Mr. Bondar leads compliance and E&S due diligence of potential investees and reporting regarding investees, developing recommendations, implementing improvements, and monitoring progress of agreed-upon action plans.
Prior to Horizon Capital, Mr. Bondar worked for the International Finance Corporation (IFC) on realization of various advisory services projects aimed at promoting investments, developing local enterprises, and improving the business-enabling environment in Ukraine.
Mr. Bondar holds the ICA Advanced Certificate in Business Compliance from the International Compliance Association (ICA).
He also holds a Master’s Degree in Public Finance Management from the Kyiv National Economic University and a Specialist’s Degree in Engineering from the National Technical University of Ukraine (Kyiv Polytechnic Institute).
Mr. Bondar is a member of Compliance Club of the American Chamber of Commerce and various committees of the American Chamber of Commerce and the European Business Association in Ukraine.
