Mr. Elias Saal is a Managing Partner & Co-Founder at NuVerse Advisors LLC.
Prior to founding NuVerse Advisors LLC, Mr. Saal was the President and Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Private Banking Americas and Head of the HSBC Bank USA Treasury.
Prior to that, he was President and Director of Republic National Bank, Chairman of the Executive Committee and a Director of Republic New York Corporation.
Mr. Saal joined Republic as a trader in 1982.
In 1985, he opened Republic’s Uruguay office and served as Chief Executive Officer.
He subsequently became General Manager of Republic’s Buenos Aires office and Regional Manager for Uruguay and Argentina in 1988.
In 1991, Mr. Saal began serving as Regional Manager for continental Europe.
In 1994, Mr. Saal was appointed General Manager and member of the executive committee of Republic National Bank of New York (Suisse).
Mr. Saal received his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees in economics from Hebrew University in Israel.
He also attended the Ph.D.
program in Economics at the University of Chicago.
