Prior to joining JPMorgan Partners, Ms. Rosenfeld was a General Partner at The Beacon Group, a New York private equity and advisory firm which she and others had founded in 1993.
At The Beacon Group, Ms. Rosenfeld was initially responsible for all the infrastructure activities of the firm.
Once the firm was established and operating, Ms. Rosenfeld was responsible for portfolio management and fund raising for the companies owned by the private equity funds managed by The Beacon Group.
Prior to the formation of The Beacon Group, Ms. Rosenfeld spent fourteen years in the Investment Banking Division at Goldman, Sachs & Co. At Goldman Sachs, Ms. Rosenfeld's experience included general advisory work as well as the solicitation and execution of public and private debt and equity offerings, project financings, leveraged buy-outs and mergers and acquisitions.
In addition, for a period of five years, Ms. Rosenfeld was the Chief Operating Officer of the Investment Banking Division.
Ms. Rosenfeld graduated from Wellesley College in 1973 with a B.A.
in history and from The Wharton Graduate School of The University of Pennsylvania in 1978 with an M.B.A.
in Finance.
