Mark Buonaugurio

Mr. Mark Buonaugurio is a Senior Vice President & Senior Wealth Advisor at The Canandaigua National Bank & Trust Co. Mr. Buonaugurio joined the firm in December 2009 has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry.
He manages portfolios for high-net-worth, trust, and institutional clients, guiding them through the process of identifying personal objectives for wealth management, and developing appropriate investment portfolios and strategies to help meet those goals.
Mr. Buonaugurio began his investment career in 1987 as a Fixed Income Specialist for the Chase Manhattan Bank.
During his 13 years there, he served as a Securities Analyst and a Portfolio Manager with responsibility in short- and intermediate-term fixed income assets.
In January 2000, he left Chase to become an investment manager at M&T Bank, where, as the senior investment officer for the bank’s Rochester division, he managed equity and fixed income portfolios for high-net-worth individuals and institutions.
Mr. Buonaugurio holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics from the University of Rochester in 1986 and earned his MBA from University of Rochester, William E.
Simon Graduate School of Business Administration in 1987.
