Prior to Cerberus Mr. Hynes was a Vice President in Investment Banking at BT.
Alex Brown where he focused on providing bank loans and high yield financings to distressed and restructured middle market companies.
He structured a $70MM financing for Tristar Aerospace combining two distressed companies which dramatically turned around and were able to access the public equity markets within two years of creation.
Other transactions included Heartland Steel and ICF Kaiser.

Alex Brown, Mr. Hynes was a Partner of Maverick Capital managing investments in a newly formed distressed strategy for the family office.
He began his career as an Assistant Vice President at GE Capital underwriting loans for companies approaching, in or emerging from bankruptcy.
He specialized in retail and restaurant transactions.
