Genoa, 1 July 2020 - ERG S.p.A. has today finalised the renewal of its Euro Medium Term Notes Programme ('EMTN Programme') increased up to a maximum amount of Euro 2,000,000,000, following the Board of Directors' resolution on 18th June 2020. Today the approval by the Luxembourg CSSF of the EMTN Programme base prospectus pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2017/1129 (the 'Prospectus Regulation') has occurred.

The EMTN Programme, which has a duration of one year and is renewable on expiry, provides for the possibility to issue one or more non-convertible bonds, to be listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange for placement with institutional investors operating in Europe.

The increase in the EMTN Programme will allow ERG S.p.A. to benefit from the flexibility of this instrument in the event of future bond issues.

The Board of Directors has postponed for subsequent resolution the approval of individual issues of securities under the EMTN Programme, as well as the definition of terms, duration and conditions.

The EMTN Programme base prospectus is available on ERG's website (www.erg.eu).

This press release, issued at 6:25 p.m. (CEST) on July 1 2020, is available to the public on the Company's website (www.erg.eu) in the section 'Media/Press releases', at the offices of Borsa Italiana S.p.A. and on the eMarket Storage authorised storage mechanism (www.emarketstorage.com).
