TOKYO (Reuters) - Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said on Friday that the Bank of Japan was buying exchange-traded funds for monetary policy and not to influence the level of the stock market.
Abe was speaking in the upper house of parliament in response to questions from an opposition lawmaker.
