Shares of Internet provider Frontier Communications rallied after analysts at brokerage Goldman Sachs initiated coverage of the company with a buy rating.

AMC Entertainment Holdings rose after the cinema chain said it was abandoning plans for shareholders to vote on the issuance of 25 million more shares.
